A Cinematic Journey with Cosmo Cine do Brasil
Like any endeavour in today's world, our journey with Cosmo Cine do Brasil began with a simple click – finding Pedro Alvarenga, a director whose talent shone brightly in every scene he created. Discovering Pedro's work and profile on social media was a sign. We knew he was the perfect fit for our project.
And just like that, our partnership with Cosmo started. Despite the distance between us, remote filmmaking was a familiar territory.
From casting actors to selecting filming locations, we delved into production—meticulously choosing props and makeup for the cast, costumes that would embody our character's essence, scouting for the vehicle, and strategizing how to take it up a mountain—all done through virtual collaboration.
This project was more than a brand video. It was a labour of creativity that took us to the finals of the BERLIN COMMERCIAL FESTIVAL FOR CREATORS OF VISUAL CULTURE. The film transcended visuals; it stood as a testament to teamwork and imagination. At its core, the intention was to manifest an element that encapsulated our brand.
Sound design
The essence of our film relied on creating a balance between silence and sound to set the mood. Our characters were depicted fleeing from something transcending across realms. The sound conveyed emotions without words, seamlessly blending with the storyline.
Visual effects
To evoke an ambience, we utilized a mix of lighting and practical visual effects that were both
straightforward and impactful. The initial visual effect sequence featured a mysterious light
from the sky created by a powerful lightning strike. The scene was crafted to capture awe and
fascination as the couple stood frozen in time, witnessing nature's power.
The second visual
effect shot showcased a close-up of our protagonist's eye, revealing elements symbolizing Water
and Fire.
With Cosmo Cine by our side, we knew that anything was possible – and we couldn't be more excited for the adventures ahead.
